DIY – Parallettes
What you need
- 10*10cm square timber, length: 100cm
- 35mm round timber, length: 100cm
- 8 wood screws
- Hand saw
Cut the square timber into 4 25cm parts. All of those 4 parts need a hole on the top, so the round timber fits in it. This hole is needed to secure the round timber while training.
The round timber has to be cut in the middle. The two 50cm round timbers should be screwed in the hole. Use 2 screws per side.
If you want to improve your parallettes even further, cut of the edges – as shown in the pic below.
As you can see, my square timber is old and used. I got it for free from the skip refuse. It’s not the prettiest, but it does the job.
